Arts Temps is looking for a diligent and efficient administrator to support with UAL’s Global Engagement Office at High Holborn. This role best suits a candidate with previous admin experience who can adapt quickly to support the department’s services. The candidate will have excellent attention to detail and an interest in social purpose/impact. The candidate will be expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will be expected to work on-site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at University of the Arts London, 272 High Holborn London WC1V 7EY
Responsibilities include:
• Support the planning of UAL Refugee Week programme 2025. This includes the coordination of a calendar of public and internal events and a symposium.
• Minute taking at the Sanctuary Steering Group
• Lead on research to enhance future global experience offering to students, focussing on the following areas: third-party providers, COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning), and short-term opportunities.
• Design and implement UAL-wide tracking system for global experiences, alongside GEO’s Global Mobility Team direction.
• Performing additional duties as assigned, adhering to university policies on health and safety, equality, diversity, data protection, and financial regulations.
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualities:
• Previous experience in an administrative support role.
• Proficient in Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and MS Excel.
• Experience in creating systems and process improvements
• Ability to synthesise large amounts of data and information into easily digestible and accessible reports
• Communicates effectively through oral and written media
• Capable of planning, prioritising, and organising work to meet deadlines
• Works collaboratively within a team and across different professional groups.
