The session will have up to 15 spaces and there is likely to be a mixture of ages and abilities in the group.

Where & When?

Prior to the workshop, there will be paid time for an initial consultation meeting and session planning time. The times are flexible at this stage, but an outline of time blocks would be:

1x 30 minute consultation session with Community Engagement Producer to outline session requirements and final thoughts of facilitator prior to session planning

1 x day session planning and development time (7 hours)

2 hours administration time for final email comms leading up to the event

The workshop itself is scheduled for Weds 29th November The Hub at Eagle Wharf (Peckham), event assistants will be required to arrive the venue from 17.00 to help set up, and will be done by 21:00.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • helping set up the space (most of this will be done by the venue already)
  • supporting the event team with logistical and basic AV issues
  • leading on general reception duties - including greeting external visitors, checking attendees against registration list or registering new visitors, issuing ID name badges and ensuring Health and Safety protocols are adhered to

The role is accountable to: Community Engagement Producer (CCW)

You will need to be able to engage and communicate with empathy the workshop's intergenerational participants from a diverse cultural and experience background.
