We are looking for a Project Administrator to support the Director of Communications & Brand and the Associate Director for Organisational Development and Transformation on an exciting change project to transform our communication function at UAL to ensure we are fit for the future.
The six colleges have always retained their own communications teams, now as part of the university’s new ten-year strategy, we are working to build a university wide communications team with an integrated approach to communications, harnessing the assets, channels and expertise of all our college teams behind a shared communication strategy and shared goals to increase the reach and impact of our communications.
We are looking for a competent project manager to support our newly appointed Associate Director for Organisational Development and Transformation to design, develop, consult on and implement this two-year transformation programme.
You will help facilitate engagement with our college-based Internal and External Relations Directors, members of the communications job family across the university, Human Resources and Finance to co-create a new structure.
You will be part of a small office management team working within the Social Purpose Group which is where the central communication & brand team is located.
We are a friendly and supportive team and there will be opportunities to get involved in wider communications activities.
You will:
- Coordinate meetings and activities, providing diary support to the AD Organisational Development and Transformation.
- Support with meetings, taking minutes as required, and following up on key actions.
- Organise room bookings, the provision of refreshments and distribution of documents.
- Support with the collection of data, production of reports, presentations and other documents, ensuring that they comply with UAL brand and formatting requirements.
- Provide any other ad hoc administrative support to the central communications & brand team, as required.
Although advertised as full-time, the role has potential for flexible working hours.
