DJ for Open Mic night
Job description
UAL Central Comms team is looking for a talented and experienced dj who can provide a soundtrack for our first Black History Month open mic night!
The event will take place at Peckham Levels on 25 October from 7-9:30pm
You will need to play a set of club classics covering popular black music genres such as amapiano, house, afrobeats, soul, dancehall, rap, r n b, reggae, etc. You should also have instrumentals, in case someone wishes to freestyle.

- Must be able to respect and meet strict deadlines
- Have a friendly and engaging way of presenting
- An outgoing personality, not afraid of crowds or cameras
- A connoisseur of black music genres
- Able to travel to Peckham Levels
- Experience of being a dj
- Excellent communication
- Evidence of enthusiasm and positive approach
- Reliability and commitment
- Exceptional time management
- Positive about UAL and student life
- Ability to engage with a diverse audience
