Designer (Presentation & PowerPoint Specialist)

Job Description

Duration: 3 months, with potential to extend
Hours: 8hrs/week
Location: Remote

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Presentation Designer to support a leading global consultancy firm on a contract basis. This requires strong focus on creating high-quality PowerPoint slides for client-facing materials and internal communications. The role is ideal for a designer with a professional services background and a passion for transforming complex content into clean, impactful visual narratives.

You’ll work directly with our consultants and partners to deliver best-in-class presentations that align with company's brand and meet strategic communication goals.

Key responsibilities
1. Design, format, and refine PowerPoint presentations for proposals, client meetings, internal decks, and reports and graphics for social media and blog posts
2. Ensure design consistency and brand alignment across all slides and templates
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify messaging and translate it into compelling visuals
4. Create custom icons, charts, diagrams, and infographics as needed
5. Work efficiently within deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design quality
6. Maintain and improve our library of slide templates and visual assets

Preferred qualifications
1. Experience working with professional services firms or similar industries
2. Familiarity with brand guidelines, corporate tone, and visual storytelling
3. Availability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

Personal Specification

1. Strong portfolio showcasing professional PowerPoint design work

2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

3. PowerPoint technical skills, including the ability to create or support custom add-ins using VBA or Office JavaScript APIs

4. Excellent attention to detail, layout, and visual hierarchy

5. Ability to grasp and visually convey complex concepts with clarity and polish

6. Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

7. Comfortable working remotely and communicating via tools like Teams or Zoom
