UAL Content Team: Creative Talent - Photographers

We’re building a network of trusted photographers who can work with University of the Arts London (UAL) to help capture, tell, and share the incredible work happening across our Colleges and Institutes.

We’re looking for photographers with a range of specialisms to join our database – everything from events photography and portraiture to capturing student work and joining us on set for campaign shoots. You might be a student, recent graduate, freelance creative, or an established practitioner – what matters most is that you produce great work, you’re reliable, and you’re open to working with different teams across the University.

Please note that this isn’t a live job application, if successful you will be added to a network of creatives and will be contacted regarding specific jobs. 

Events and documentation

• Capturing private views, public talks, workshops or launches.
• Behind-the-scenes documentation of making, rehearsals, or installations.

Portraiture

• Studio or natural light headshots.
• Editorial-style location portraits.
• Team or group photos.

Performance photography

• Theatre, dance, performance art or puppetry.
• Dress rehearsals or live performances.
• Capturing movement, atmosphere, and lighting conditions.

Facilities and College sites

• Documenting spaces, tools, and learning environments.
• Showing the character and uniqueness of each college.

Artwork and product

• High-quality documentation of artwork, design objects or fashion pieces.
• Flat lays, product-style setups or archival documentation.

Editorial and creative

• Creative shoots for UAL publications or campaigns.
• Stylised or conceptual photography.
