UAL Content Team: Creative Talent - Editor

We’re building a network of trusted film editors who can work with University of the Arts London (UAL) to help us turn raw film footage at the post-production stage into seamless and professional edits for projects across our Colleges and Institutes.

We’re looking for editors with strong skills in professional editing software, setting up project files, selecting and arranging shots and integrating voiceovers and music - everything from social media edits to short documentaries. You might be a student, recent graduate, freelance creative, or an established practitioner – what matters most is that you produce great work, you’re reliable, and you’re open to working with different teams across the University.

Please note that this isn’t a live job application, if successful you will be added to a network of creatives and will be contacted regarding specific jobs.

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Film Editor 
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, timing, and pacing.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows and file formats.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
