We are looking for a beta tester to review and test a range of online Short Courses before their official launch. Your feedback will help ensure the course is engaging, accessible, and meets learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Course Navigation & Usability: Test the flow, structure, and ease of use.
  • Content & Engagement: Provide feedback on clarity, interactivity, and effectiveness of lessons.
  • Technical Issues: Identify broken links, loading issues, or formatting inconsistencies.
  • Accessibility & UX: Check for readability, mobile compatibility, and overall accessibility.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Complete quizzes, assignments, and review feedback mechanisms.
  • Report Issues & Suggestions: Share constructive feedback via a structured form or discussion session.
You will need to use your own laptop to undertake the testing.
An initial training session will be scheduled to take place on the 12th June between 09:00 - 10:00.
The testing is then estimated to take around 12 hours and can be undertaken in your own time, ensuring this is competed no later than the 20th June.

What You Get

  • Early access to the course.
  • Opportunity to influence improvements.

Personal Specification

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Experience with online learning platforms and inclusive practices (preferred but not required).
  • Availability to complete the course within the testing timeframe.

We are an equal opportunities employer and positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
