Job Description

Student Evaluators – Welcome 2025 Focus Groups 

Department: Student Journey, Central Saint Martins  Location: Online or In-Person (Granary Building, King’s Cross)  Duration: 1 hour (single session only)  Dates: Various – see below 

 

We are looking for current CSM students who took part in their School Welcome events in September 2025 to join 1-hour evaluation sessions. These focus groups will explore students’ experiences of Welcome 2025 to help us understand what worked well, what could be improved, and how future Welcome events can better support new students. 

 

You will be paid for attending one session only (1 hour). 

 

Available Sessions (students can take part in one only): 

  • Undergraduate – Online: Thursday 14 November, 10:00–11:00 

  • Undergraduate – In person: Monday 24 November, 10:00–11:00 

  • Postgraduate – Online: Thursday 14 November, 10:00–11:00 

  • Postgraduate – In person: Monday 24 November, 11:30–12:30 

  • Student Ambassadors (Welcome 2025 participants): Monday 18 November, 13:00–14:00 

 

 

 

Personal Specification

Eligibility Criteria 

Arts Temps should only shortlist and appoint students who meet all of the following: 

  • Current CSM student – enrolled on an undergraduate or postgraduate course. 

  • New starter – began studies at CSM in September 2025. 

  • Attended a School Welcome event in September 2025. 

  • Available for one of the following one-hour sessions: 

  • Undergraduate (Online): Thursday 14 November, 10:00–11:00 

  • Undergraduate (In person): Tuesday 19 November, 13:00–14:00 

  • Postgraduate (Online): Thursday 14 November, 10:00–11:00 

  • Postgraduate (In person): Tuesday 19 November, 14:00–15:00 

  • Student Ambassadors (Welcome 2025 participants): Monday 18 November, 13:00–14:00 

  • Strong communication skills and able to reflect on and discuss their Welcome experience. 

  • Each student may only attend one session. 

 
 

Requirements 

  • Currently enrolled at Central Saint Martins (undergraduate or postgraduate level) 

  • Must have attended a School Welcome event in September 2025 

  • Able to attend one (only) of the above sessions in full 

  • Comfortable sharing honest feedback about your experience of Welcome 2025 

  • Reliable and punctual
