Job Description

UAL is looking for a graphic designer experienced in data visualisation to produce a series of graphs and tables to be embedded in a research publication and project website. The ideal candidate will be able to identify key data sets from UNCTAD and UNESCO and other large-scale data on the creative economy.
They will be competent in data analysis and has the digital graphics skills to deliver the data in a creative and easy to read format, while also being mindful of the global audience.

Responsibilities include: 
Identify key data sets from UNCTAD and UNESCO and other large-scale data on the creative economy
Transforming data sets into a visual format suitable for digital and print format
Highlighting key data in a creative and communicable way
Ensuring the data is presented in a cohesive and visually appealing way.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure the illustrations communicate project themes.

Personal Specification

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualities: 

An understanding of decolonial themes
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience in data analysis and visualisation.
Strong communication skills for explaining design concepts and feedback.
