This role best suits a candidate with previous admin experience who has knowledge of Refugee week and the work of Sanctuary. The candidate will have excellent attention to detail and an interest in social purpose/impact. The candidate will be expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will be expected to work on-site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at University of the Arts London, 272 High Holborn London WC1V 7EY
Responsibilities include:
- Support the planning and delivery of the Sanctuary in Action Programme 2026, including the development of a comprehensive calendar of public and internal events, workshops, and a flagship symposium.
- Assist with event logistics such as venue booking, speaker liaison, travel coordination, accessibility arrangements, promotional materials, and post-event evaluation.
- Support budget tracking and administrative processes associated with programme delivery.
- Contribute to the planning, scheduling, and delivery of the Sanctuary Speaks podcast, including coordinating guests, preparing briefing materials, managing recording schedules, and supporting episode promotion.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth communication and collaborative working across both initiatives.
- Assist in the development of programme communications, including drafting Canvas articles, social media content, website updates, and promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation related to events, podcast production, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide minute-taking and administrative support for the Sanctuary Steering Group, ensuring accurate recording of discussions, actions, and follow-up tasks.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities by collecting feedback and contributing to impact reporting.
