Job Description

Contract: 3 month's contract with a possibility of extension
Hours: 4 hours per week

Excellent opportunity to gain experience designing for an organisation working at the intersection of climate, psychology, and social change while contributing to meaningful public engagement and educational initiatives.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support the production of this centre's engaging visual content across its communications and public engagement activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design high-quality digital and print materials, including social media graphics, reports, presentations, event materials, and promotional assets.
  • Develop visually engaging content that communicates research, educational resources, and public engagement initiatives to diverse audiences.
  • Ensure consistency across all communications by working within the Centre's visual identity and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Centre's team to translate complex ideas into clear, accessible, and impactful visual designs.
  • Prepare artwork for both digital and print publication, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute creative ideas to support campaigns, events, and ongoing communications.
   

Personal Specification

  • Strong graphic design and visual communication skills, supported by a portfolio of relevant work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent design software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good communication and collaborative working skills.
  • An interest in climate, psychology, education, or social impact is desirable.
