Job Description

Actors Wanted - BA (Hons) Film & TV Production | LCC TV Studio Projects

BA (Hons) Film & TV Production at London College of Communication (UAL) is seeking current UAL students and graduates to perform in a series of exciting multi-camera TV Studio fiction projects. Working alongside second-year Film & TV students, successful applicants will take part in professionally produced, 8-minute 'as live' recordings across a range of genres, including sitcom, science fiction and drama. Filming will take place in LCC's broadcast-standard TV Studio at Elephant & Castle, offering actors an opportunity to develop their on-screen experience, build showreel material and establish connections for future Film & TV projects. We welcome applications from performers of all backgrounds and ethnicities and are committed to assembling a diverse group of actors.

Pay and Commitment: Roles will be paid through UAL Arts Temps at Grade 1, comprising two 2-hour rehearsals and one 3-hour recording session. The rate is all-inclusive, and no additional travel or other expenses will be covered.

When?

  • Rehearsal 1 (2 hours): TBD, between 7–11 Dec 2026 (UAL week 11).
  • Rehearsal 2 (2 hours): TBD, between 11–21 Jan 2026 (UAL weeks 12, 13).
  • Recording Sessions (3 hours): TBD, between 22–29 Jan 2027 (UAL weeks 13, 14).

Where?

📍 LCC TV Studio, London College of Communication, Elephant & Castle, London, SE1 6SB

A small pool of actors will be recruited to rotate across projects, with opportunities to participate in multiple productions depending on availability. Where possible, rehearsals will be grouped to minimise travel.
