Job Description

1 Arts Temp needed to install power extension cables to tables (20 in total) for visiting brands to power devices, safely securing cables with tape or cable covers to avoid trip hazards and tested to ensure that power is present. You will be instructed and supervised by a member of the AV team who will lean over to assist where possible. You will also be required to move a TV screen on a trolly into the space from our office on the mezzanine level.

You will be required to be present on the following day for the duration of the careers fair incase technical issues arise (referring anything complex to a member of the AV team) and to pack away the power extension cables and TV trolly at the end of the day and return them to the AV office on the mezzanine level.

Personal Specification

You will ideally have a working knowledge of TV/Audio setups, general wiring knowledge (strong knowledge of cables etc.) and an ability to think on your feet when dealing with various technical issues that may arise.
