Private View Ambassador - Camberwell Wilson Road

This role entails operating the welcome desk, and being the first point of contact and welcome to all visitors to the Camberwell Fine Art Degree Show Private view. Please note that this role will be at the Wilson Road site, not the Peckham Road site.

 . The duties involved are:

• Greeting and welcoming visitors
•  Answering any queries about the exhibition map
• Providing directions to visitors to specific rooms
• Providing directions to visitors to facilities such as toilets, the canteen, etc.
• Attending start of shift briefings
• Counting in visitors as required.

The working pattern is: 

• 16th June 17 - 21

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic people who have excellent knowledge of the college layout and ideally also has experience of working on events at UAL. You respect the importance of representing the college as the first point of contact for visitors and are happy to bring a positive energy to the task.

This has the potential to be a busy event with lots of visitors. You will need to keep a cool head and a friendly manner. You must be a good communicator, and attentive to fellowAmbassadors, teaching staff, exhibiting students, catering staff, etc.providing support where necessary.

Familiarity with the campus from study or previous work experience is desired, but not necessary for the role.
