Careers and Employability are seeking participants for a focus group. We want to better understand the current student attitudes and communication styles in relation to careers activities.
The focus group will take place in not just a shop at the High Holborn campus and will run from 3:30-5:30pm on 24 June 2025. Please only apply if you're able to make this date and time.
During the focus group we will:
- spend time workshopping communication channels the careers team can explore next year
- listen to your experiences of communications at UAL so far
- discuss your needs and interests in relation to your employability.
We are looking for participants from a range of courses and colleges to get the best cross section of the current UAL student body.
Please apply with a short paragraph as your cover letter explaining why you would like to take part.
Accessibility:
not just a shop is located on the ground floor of High Holborn and is accessible for wheelchair users, in the event of a fire there is a small (approx 2 inch) step down to the street.
The chairs used for the session will be stools, but we can accommodate other chairs if told in advance.
We will mostly be working with paper and pens, with some use of projector and screens.
The lighting in the shop is overhead but can be dimmed on request.
