Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Study Abroad Coordination Assistant to support the delivery of our Summer Study Abroad programme at UAL. The role will be based primarily at Central Saint Martins (King’s Cross campus), with occasional work at London College of Fashion (East Bank, Stratford).

This is a varied and active role requiring excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative approach, and strong organisational abilities. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating campus facilities and supporting day-to-day programme operations.

Responsibilities may include: 
  •  Prepare classrooms and workshops, including setting up furniture, arranging materials, and ensuring AV equipment is operational.
  • Draft and send communications to students and tutors regarding course updates and logistics.
  • Support the International Programme Coordinator with printing, sourcing & purchasing materials, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with the International Programme Coordinator and course tutors to plan and organise the final summer exhibition.
  • Maintain course registers and databases.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to university policies on health and safety, equality, diversity, data protection, and financial regulations.

Personal Specification

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualities:
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role.
  • Familiarity with Central Saint Martins (King’s Cross) campus facilities; ability to navigate and locate rooms and workshops with confidence.
  • Proficient in Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and MS Excel.
  • Basic working knowledge of Padlet and Moodle.
  •  Basic understanding of AV equipment and various art materials.
  •  Experienced in providing support both in person and online.
  •  Communicates effectively through oral and written media.
  •  Capable of planning, prioritising, and organising work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Works collaboratively within a team and across different professional groups.
    Delivers positive and responsive customer or student service.
