Job Description

UAL's Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions (SMRA) department are looking for an Events Coordinator to play a key role in helping UAL Creative Computing Institute (CCI) meet recruitment targets.

You will be responsible for the planning, organisation, delivery and management of on-campus and online recruitment events for prospective applicants, working closely with SMRA, CCI and key stakeholders.

Your profile

You will have a track record of managing events successfully, safely and within budget. With experience in driving event registrations, you will be skilled in creating event communications across different formats, particularly email and social media. You will have exceptional organisational skills, a strong eye for detail and a clear focus on customer service and the customer experience.

You should be familiar with the planning and delivery of events, and associated health and safety requirements such as risk assessments and fire safety. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who has experience of presenting to diverse audiences.

Personal Specification

The ideal candidate will be experienced in:
  • Organising multiple events concurrently. 
  • Promoting events through various communication channels, including email and social.
  • Using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or other database to manage event registrations. 
  • Project management, risk assessment, budget management and people management in the context of event organisation.
  • The production of digital and physical assets using Adobe Creative Cloud (desirable).
  • Organising recruitment events (desirable).
