EDI videographer and editor

UAL are looking for a Video Producer and Editor to help LCC’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team to create an end of year video. Every year, the team award small grants to support projects that aim to advance staff and student engagement with EDI. Many of these projects include supporting activities. At the end of each academic year, staff who are awarded projects submit a report outlining the outcomes of the project. This film is to capture the main outputs and outcomes that these projects. 

Responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:

• Follow a film brief and implement it to the highest quality and within the given budget and time limits 
• Work with a range of project leads and stakeholders from across the College to capture projects activities and the views and feedback of those impacted/engaged with the projects
• Schedule and execute a coherent and accessible filming and editing timetable to ensure collection of sufficient footage to enable the production of a short film - up to 10 minutes. 
• Ensure all film is securely saved and handed over to the EDI team at the end of the project 

• Good familiarity and experience with LCC’s film equipment, including lighting and microphones
• Experience of producing short promotional films 
• Experience using Adobe Suite packages
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Excellent project management skills 
• Familiarity and interest in EDI 
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage a range of people from across the college
