Home Away From Home – International Film Project
We’re looking for student extras to appear in Home Away From Home, a new international film exploring identity, culture, and belonging.
We want to reflect the full diversity of our student community and are keen to hear from students across all Colleges, courses, and levels of study.
Who we’re looking for:

Students from any UAL College

All study levels (Pre-degree, Undergraduate, Postgraduate)

A wide range of backgrounds, cultures, identities, and lived experiences

Students comfortable being filmed
No acting experience is required. We're looking for real students to bring authenticity and energy to the film.
What’s involved:

Appearing as an extra in filmed campus and London scenes

Light direction on the day (e.g. walking, studying, collaborating)

Filming will take place on 26-27 March around London and at selected UAL sites.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an international creative project and represent the diversity of our student community on screen.
Responsibilities include:
• Being prepared to deliver specific poses or expressions upon request.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and professionalism throughout sessions.
• Maintaining various poses and movement for extended periods.
