UAL are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Study Abroad Assistant to provide essential administrative and organisational support for the delivery of UAL’s Study Abroad programme.
This role is primarily administrative and coordination-focused, supporting planning, logistics, and scheduling processes, with operational support onsite. The successful candidate will bring strong technical and digital skills, alongside excellent organisational ability, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will work closely with the International Programme Coordinator(s), the Study Abroad team, and course tutors to ensure the effective planning of the semester programmes, as well as the preparation and successful delivery of the summer programme.
You will be based between Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion from March to June, and then at Central Saint Martins from June to August.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for programme planning, scheduling, and timetabling, with involvement in rebuilding processes (with scope to support digital/AI initiatives).
- Support course Administrator with maintaining accurate course registers, student databases, and programme records.
- Draft, proof, and send communications to students and tutors regarding course updates, timetables, and logistics.
- Assist with sourcing, purchasing, and distribution of programme materials.
- Support preparation of classrooms and workshops (arranging furniture, materials, and AV equipment when needed).
- Support logistics for programme events such as final exhibition showcases.
- Provide general office support, including printing, filing, and document preparation.
- Uphold university policies on health and safety, equality, diversity, data protection, and financial compliance.
