Personal Specification
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualities:
- Good knowledge of Higher Education Research environment (desirable)
- Previous experience in an administrative support role
- Knowledge and understanding of project management principles
- Experience of coordinating projects (including financial/budget coordination and administration)
- Experience of organising events/workshops/ conferences
- Communicates effectively orally and in writing adapting the message for a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way
- Plans, prioritises and organises work to achieve objectives on time
- Uses initiative or creativity to resolve problems
Works collaboratively in a team and where appropriate across or with different professional groups
- Delivers positive and responsive customer or student service
- Proficient in Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and MS Excel
