Micro teach participant (Fashion, Styling and Production)

Job Description

The School of Media and Communication at LCF, UAL are seeking students to provide valuable feedback on teaching sessions. Your insights will be instrumental in evaluating the teaching styles of potential academic staff.

Eligibility:

Students/alumni (8 x positions available) preferably from the BA Fashion Styling and Production course or School of Media and Communication are needed to be part of a student panel for a microteach session for interview candidates for our Lecturer Fashion Styling and Production vacancy. You will be required to be available on Tuesday 19th May from approximately 9:45- 2:15pm (exact times tbc) at LCF East Bank.

As part of the interview process we have asked the applicants to deliver a 30-minute mock teaching session to a student panel. Your
feedback, as students, will help us understand the candidates’ approach to teaching.

Personal Specification

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualities:

• Able to write constructive and detailed feedback.
• Have a solid understanding and clear opinions on what makes a good lecture.
• Punctual and committed to attending each session.
• Able to submit feedback forms promptly to the lead student on the panel.
• Available for all scheduled teaching sessions.
