We’re looking for a small group of pre-degree alumni students to take part in a filming project at SPDS on 20 and 21 October 2026.
We’re creating a new virtual tour of SPDS, Lime Grove to give prospective students a feel for the campus, facilities and student experience. As part of the project, you’ll help bring the tour to life by walking through different areas of the campus, speaking to camera and showcasing what it’s like to study at SPDS.
The finished video will be used across UAL’s digital and marketing channels to help prospective students discover more about the School of Pre-degree Studies.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking part in filming across Lime Grove on 20 and 21 October
- Walking through different areas of the campus and showcasing facilities
- Speaking to camera and answering simple questions about your student experience
- Helping to create a friendly and authentic representation of student life at SPDS.
- Attending a one-hour briefing session before filming

Filming: Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October 2026
Briefing: One-hour session before filming, date and time to be confirmed
Location: UAL School of Pre-Degree Studies, 40 Lime Grove, London W12 8EA
Payment: Paid opportunity covering both filming days and the briefing session
How to apply
Please submit a short 30–60 second video cover letter explaining:
- Why you’d like to take part in the filming project
- Why you think you’d be a good fit for the opportunity
- Any relevant experience you have, such as appearing on camera, creating UGC, presenting, interviews, acting or other filming projects
The video cover letter will give us an opportunity to see how comfortable and natural you are speaking on camera.
Optional: You can also include a link to an existing video where you have appeared on camera, such as UGC, an interview, social media content or another filming project.
