Welcome 2026 Focus Group Participants

We're looking for 5 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate UAL students who started their academic journey in September 2026 to join a focus group regarding the UAL's communications during the Welcome 2026 Campaign. 

Organised by the Student Communications and Engagement Team at UAL, this focus group will help us to ensure our Welcome communications meet the needs of students.    

This focus group is planned for Wednesday 14 October at 11am-12pm online and will provide an opportunity for you to share valuable insights about what new students really need and want to know during the first few weeks at UAL.  

There will also be 30 minutes of reviewing documents and content required before the session.  

In this workshop, you'll participate in structured discussions and exercises covering: 

• • Looking at the key student communication dates of Welcome  

  • • Discussions around content sent in the communications and what students need to know 

  • Discussion about creative ideas around Welcome at UAL 

To apply for this role, please ensure you are a first year undergraduate or postgraduate student who joined UAL in September 2026. You must also be available at the focus group time - 11am to 12pm, Wednesday 14 October 2026.
 

Participants must be confident to discuss their thoughts on a variety of topics and not be afraid to voice their opinions!
