Workstation Survey Assistant (temporary student role)
Location:
Multi-site (CSM, LCF, CCW, LCC, and other UAL sites).
Duration:
1x day per site, up to 7x days in total, part-time or full-time depending on availability and site access. Flexibility to complete during the month of August.

Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to assist with this UAL-wide survey of workstation resources. This short-term role involves visiting various locations across the university to collect data on workstation setups used by professional services staff, academic staff, and students.
The main objective is to review the quantity, type, and distribution of computer monitors across key areas e.g.:
You will be provided with a semi-structured template to guide your data collection and help track progress.
The information collected will support developing the university's digital carbon footprint and the development of UAL's net zero implementation plan.
Key Responsibilities:

Visit multiple sites across the university to conduct an on-site audit of workstations

Record data on monitor types (e.g. size, model, docking station included), quantity (single vs double), and location (site, floor, etc)

Accurately complete a tracking template provided by the university

Communicate any inconsistencies, missing data, or access issues to the project lead

Maintain professionalism when interacting with staff in occupied work areas

Ensure data is stored and shared securely in accordance with university guidelines
