What do Changemakers do?
LCC Changemakers are co-creators and student partners. They work with staff across programmes, libraries, and careers/employability to reimagine racial and social justice and embed it into the curriculum.
Changemakers lead creative, collective projects inspired by decolonising themes. This can include:

Administering blogs, hosting and writing content that amplifies student voice.

Designing branding and visibility campaigns that highlight Changemaker work.
-
Developing a visual glossary to translate ideas of racial and social justice into accessible formats.

Producing a visual yearbook and annual report that captures the Changemakers’ impact.

Co-designing presentations, workshops and events with students and staff.
Who do Changemakers report to?
The Senior Educational Developer, Academic Development and Strategy, LCC.
How and when do Changemakers work?
Changemakers work both online and in-person. Working hours are flexible and agreed with your manager. Regular check-ins will be held online, with one in-person/onsite team meeting each month.
Duties and Responsibilities of Changemakers

Develop projects and initiatives that engage students, staff and industry in decoloniality, anti-racism and social justice in an intersectional way.

Work with course teams to review and co-design teaching practices.

Liaise with student reps, the Student Union, and directly with students.

Co-design and deliver presentations, workshops, blogs, and campaigns.

Contribute to creative outputs (e.g. blogs, branding, visual glossary, yearbook/report).

Carry out project reviews of teaching and learning initiatives funded by LCC/UAL EDI grants and Teaching and Learning Innovation Funds.

Take an active role in training and development, sharing learning with peers and growing in knowledge and confidence.

Collaborate with the Changemakers Coordinator, Deans, Associate Deans and Programme Directors on projects such as course redesign, evaluation, and new collaborative initiatives.
