This role will be responsible for reviewing, transcribing and turning our summer video content into Stories (for our blog). They will also support the UAL Short Course marketing team in transforming existing assets into engaging social media content and crafting compelling posts from student interviews.
It would be desirable if the candidate has experience in creating reels using software such as cap cut using existing footage and adhering to our brand guidelines.
This role requires a keen eye for identifying narrative opportunities within long-form content and an ability to adapt messaging for various digital platforms, enhancing UAL Short Courses online presence and promoting its short courses.
Blog Content
- Transcribe audio or video recordings of student interviews into written format.
- Develop interesting and informative blog posts based on provided topics or subjects, drawing insights from transcribed interviews.
- Structure blog content for readability and SEO, incorporating headings, bullet points, and relevant imagery (where provided).
- Ensure blog posts maintain a consistent tone of voice and adhere to UAL's editorial guidelines.
Social Media Content
- Design and create visually appealing grid posts and stories for social media (within brand guidelines)
- Develop engaging copy and calls-to-action for social media posts.
- Transform existing long-form video or text content into bite-sized series suitable for platforms like Instagram (e.g., Reels, Stories, carousels) - briefs will be provided and all work must be adhere to brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand content strategies, incorporate feedback, and ensure all content aligns with marketing objectives.
