Job Description

Camberwell, UAL are looking for 2x new Library Shelvers to join their team, your duties will include the following:-
 
To ensure that returned books and other resources are shelved in their correct location on the library shelves.

Tidy specific sections of the library (putting the books back in order, according to the Dewey Decimal system). 

Occasionally assist with stock moving, as required. 

Personal Specification

Experience of working/volunteering in a library.  - Desirable

Basic understanding of how the library shelving system works.   - Essential

Reliable and able to commit to 5 hours a week during term time. - Essential

Self-motivated and able to work methodically and accurately. - Essential

Able to maintain attention to detail whilst performing repetitive tasks. - Essential

Able to cope with the physical demands of the role. - Essential

Solid understanding of and commitment to the health and safety responsibilities of the role. - Essential
