Job Description

Job Description:
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent fashion graduate to contribute to the design and production of the new Park Champions uniform, a collaborative project between London College of Fashion (LCF), the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), and Our Parklife CIC.
Working closely with the LCF academic Creative Director and Production Manager, the Graduate Design and Production Assistant will support the end-to-end product development process across three key uniform pieces (jacket, t-shirt, and bag). The role will involve technical drawing and specification work, sustainable material sourcing, sample tracking, fittings coordination, and production management.
The postholder will play a vital role in ensuring that the project delivers high-quality, practical, and sustainable uniform solutions that reflect the identity and values of the Park Champions programme and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Responsibilities:

- Support the design team with technical drawings and tech pack development.
-  Assist in sourcing sustainable materials and trims, coordinating swatch deliveries, and gathering information on costs, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
- Track samples and production orders, liaising with suppliers and factories to monitor progress.
- Help to organise and attend fittings and sample reviews, measuring samples ahead of sessions and updating tech packs with comments and amendments.
- Maintain accurate records of fabric and trim deliveries, ensuring all materials are logged and tracked.
- Support logistics by coordinating sample shipping and returns between partners and production sites.
- Work collaboratively with the wider LCF and LLDC teams, ensuring design, production, and sustainability goals are met within project timelines.
