The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge, experience, and skills:
Essential
• Experience in Student Support: Demonstrated experience working with students in an educational or mentoring capacity, with the ability to offer structured guidance and support within a limited timeframe to help students achieve learning outcomes.
• Motivational Leadership: Ability to actively guide, motivate, and inspire others in a collaborative learning environment.
• UX/Interaction/Service Design Knowledge: Practical understanding of user experience, and/or interaction design, and/or service design principles and processes.
• Persona Development Expertise: Working knowledge of how to create and apply personas effectively in design contexts.
• Empathetic Approach: A supportive and inclusive attitude towards working with diverse student groups, with the ability to remain positive and encouraging throughout the session.
Desirable
• User Ecosystem Thinking: Familiarity with user ecosystem frameworks (e.g. rethinkingusers.com), however a resource will also be provided to support this ahead of the session.
