Job Description

Fixed term contract (2 months)
Mid January – Mid March
Location: Central London (Piccadilly Circus)

We are seeking highly motivated, high-calibre graduates with relevant work experience ideally within art, fashion, hospitality, or customer service to join a short-term, project-based role supporting a public-facing studio environment and large-scale art exhibition.

This is an experience-led role rather than a technical one and requires individuals who can consistently deliver an exceptional standard of visitor engagement, professionalism, and adaptability. The successful candidates will support visitors with customised merchandise and garments for purchase and will be primarily based within the merchandising and front-of-house areas of the experience.

The role will be based at an indoor event space in Piccadilly Circus and offers a unique opportunity to work closely with an internationally recognised artist collective, with potential pathways into future collaborations or studio-based opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-of-house representative, ensuring visitors receive a warm, informed, and memorable experience

  • Engage confidently with the public, responding to questions about the studio, its work, and artistic practice

  • Support shop-floor operations, including merchandising and customer assistance

  • Adapt quickly to changing responsibilities, including stepping into other front-of-house roles when required

  • Maintain a calm, professional presence in a dynamic, high-footfall environment

  • Represent the values, ethos, and artistic vision of the studio at all times

Personal Specification

  • Confident and friendly with the public

  • Adaptable and proactive

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment

  • Genuinely interested in contemporary art and creative studios

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with an internationally recognised creative studio, with potential for future collaborations.

Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter outlining why you would be a strong fit for this role.
