We are seeking three contemporary dancers/performers to collaborate with first‑year BA (Hons) Costume for Performance students on a movement‑led design project. This is the students’ first experience working with performers, so we are looking for individuals who are patient, supportive, and open to a nurturing creative process. Essential Criteria:
- Experience in contemporary dance, movement practice, or physical theatre
- Confidence in improvisation and responding to creative tasks
- Ability to adapt movement in response to costume design and materiality
- Patience and generosity when working with first‑year students
- Clear and respectful communication skills
- Reliability and full availability for all scheduled project dates
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working with costume, textiles, or design students
- Interest in movement/costume interaction and embodiment
- Experience collaborating with emerging or early‑career artists
- Comfort working with unconventional or restrictive costume prototypes
