Job Description

Arts Temps are looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator who will take ownership of organic and paid social media content across key platforms, supporting brand visibility, engagement, and growth.

This role suits a creative, motivated self-starter who can work independently while collaborating closely with others. The successful candidate will generate ideas, create and edit content, and use performance insights to refine output. The role involves a mix of on-site content capture, including short interviews, vox pops, exhibition visits, and workers in action, alongside office-based editing, planning, and scheduling.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend.

Personal Specification

  1. Share an example of a creative content idea you proposed and how you worked with others to develop it.

  2. Please describe your experience creating social-first content for Instagram or LinkedIn. What types of content have you produced, and how have you tailored it to engage an audience?

  3. Tell us about a time you have created user-generated style content. How did you engage people and bring your ideas to life?

Background in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field, with experience creating and analysing social-first content for Instagram and LinkedIn to drive reach and engagement. Use performance insights to refine content and improve engagement.

  • Experience being on camera and creating UGC-style content, confident speaking to others, filming interviews or vox pops, and representing a brand in a professional but approachable way.

  • Experience using editing tools such as Canva, and mobile editing apps (e.g. Edits, CapCut) to produce short-form video, reels, and UGC-style content; (Premiere Pro or other Adobe tools desirable)

  • Strong ideas-led creative thinker, able to generate varied content concepts to diversify the feed, appeal to a wider audience, and support business growth. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and needs.

  • Flexible to work on-site and on location when required, with experience filming across offices, exhibitions, events, and live environments using smartphone and basic filming equipment.

  • Highly motivated, ideas-led self-starter with autonomy, able to articulate innovative content ideas, take feedback from colleagues, manage end-to-end delivery, and collaborate effectively.
