UAL Catering are looking for a student content creator for the following project to promote sustainability and UAL Catering's new KeepCup. To apply, please send a cover letter and two examples of videos you've created for social media.
UAL Catering would like you to create a vlog-style reel to be published on the UAL Catering Instagram channel, which explores what it takes to stay consistent with sustainable habits as a student - highlighting both the challenges and rewards of choosing reusable options in everyday life. Although the KeepCup will appear throughout the video as a recurring element, the focus is not on the product itself, but on sustainability as a mindset - the small, personal choices that make a difference. The video should feel honest, relatable, and personal, giving insight into how habits form (or slip) during busy student life. It should showcase the canteen and café spaces and the student’s daily journey to grab food or coffee on campus.
Tone & Style:
• Vlog / day-in-the-life style video shot over 2-3 week period
• Authentic and conversational
• Balanced between informative and personal
• The vlog should aim to inspire realistic change rather than perfection - showing both successes and struggles.
• Honest voiceover or captions to reflect personal thoughts
• Optional graphic elements to appear on the video
Elements to feature
• Keep Cup Original cup OR Long Play
• Your own mug – optional
• Mugs at the café
• Footage of daily coffee or lunch routines with china plate— ordering, sitting down, chatting, studying — to make the content more relatable.
• Other spaces in the uni or at home / halls
• Loyalty card
• Other sustainable hacks in halls / home if you have any
Prompts /reflections to consider and express throughout the video
• “Do you struggle to be consistent?”
• “What are the benefits of using reusables?”
• “Do you mind carrying a KeepCup with you?”
• “Do you have any other sustainable habits / hacks you personally love?”
• “How much did you save through the catering loyalty card and free coffee rewards?”
