Job Description

We need performers to add a little extra excitement to our Masquerade ball event!

Friday 6th march 7pm-11pm shift (performing for short bursts between 8:00 and 11.)

We need some performers to:

• Carry and distribute trays of drinks and/or pizza to guests throughout the venue

• Move confidently through crowds while engaging positively with attendees
• Create atmosphere and contribute to the magical ambiance of the masquerade theme through your presence and interaction style

• Adapt to event flow and respond to changing needs throughout the evening as directed by event coordinators

• Follow health and safety protocols - Ensure safe handling and service of food and beverages

• Represent the event professionally, embody the spirit and intrigue of the masquerade ball theme

And we are looking for some specialty performance roles:

- Looking for people with specific skills such as fortune telling, mask work, juggling, or other talents in designated roaming performer positions

Ideal candidates could possess the following qualities:

• Confident personality with ability to interact comfortably with large groups

• Physical capability to carry trays and move around venue for extended periods or if unable to move through the space ability to perform

• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic

• Ability to maintain professional demeanor throughout the event

• Flexibility to take direction and adapt to changing circumstances

Desirable Skills:

Specialty performance abilities including but not limited to:

Fortune telling or tarot reading
Mask work or theatrical skills
Juggling or circus arts
Magic tricks or illusions
Dance or movement arts
Musical performance
Previous event or hospitality experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Dress Requirements/ suggestions.

• Formal black attire (suits, dresses, or elegant separates)

• Alternative option: Appropriate costume or outfit inspired by masquerade/venetian carnival themes

• All outfits must be suitable for carrying trays and moving freely
