Bridal Couture Seamstress (Collection-based work, Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Couture Seamstress to support the creation of luxury bridal garments and sculptural corsetry on a collection-by-collection basis. This is a temporary, project-led role suited to a maker with exceptional technical precision and a strong commitment to couture craftsmanship.

This is a hybrid position. You must have your own professional sewing setup for remote work, with studio attendance required as projects demand

Key Responsibilities

Construct bridal garments to couture standards
Execute advanced corsetry and structured bodices
Hand finishing and delicate detailing
Work with fine fabrics including silk, lace, and tulle
Carry out precise alterations and refinements

Personal Specification

Proven experience in bridal, eveningwear, or couture construction
Strong corsetry and structured garment knowledge
Excellent hand sewing and finishing skills
High-level machining and fabric handling
Ability to work independently to a professional standard
Own fully equipped sewing setup
Design experience within Theatre & Performance preferred
