Project & Production Coordinator
Dates: W/C 17th August – end of November 2026
Timeframe & Payment: Approx 80–90 hours over 15-week period
Purpose of the Role
London College of Communication seeking a Project & Production Coordinator to provide short-term project support for the delivery of an immersive public installation as part of its partnership with Valencia Innovation Capital (VIC).
Working alongside the academic team, technicians and production partners in Valencia, the role will provide additional coordination capacity during the delivery phase, supporting production planning, communication and day-to-day project coordination to help ensure the installation is delivered smoothly.
This is a flexible support role, suited to someone with experience of creative production, exhibitions, installations or live events who enjoys coordinating people, information and activity across multiple stakeholders.
About Valencia Immersive City
Valencia Immersive City is an international collaboration between UAL and Valencia Innovation Capital, bringing together LCC researchers, artists and technologists to create an immersive public installation that uses real-time Smart City data to engage audiences and explore the future of creative technology, research and civic innovation.
Key Responsibilities
The Project & Production Coordinator will support the team by:

Assisting with the coordination of project timelines, actions and key milestones

Developing delivery framework and schematic

Supporting communication between the academic team, senior VIC stakeholders, technicians, Valencia production partners

Assisting with production planning, tracking dependencies and maintaining delivery schedules

Coordinating meetings, actions and follow-up tasks where required

Supporting installation planning and production logistics in the lead-up to delivery

Helping to identify and flag potential delivery risks, issues or resource requirements

Maintaining project documentation and ensuring key information is shared across the team

Helping to identify, monitor and escalate delivery risks, issues or dependencies that may impact project timelines or installation delivery

Coordinating project logistics, including travel, accommodation and meeting arrangements for UK staff travelling to Valencia, ensuring bookings are made in line with project timelines and budget
