Location: Granary Building, Central Saint Martins
Shift Time: 12:00–18:00

Overview:

We’re looking for confident and organised Student Ambassadors to support new students during our Welcome and Induction events. You’ll help direct student groups between sessions and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.

We are recruiting:

9 x Student Ambassadors – for all events except PG M School
1 x Student Ambassador – for PG M School (this person will also encourage students to complete the Welcome Survey Evaluation)

Please note: Student Ambassadors will be asked to complete two shifts each.

The shifts run from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on the following dates:
September 16th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.

Please include a cover letter confirming what shifts you are available for.

Personal Specification

Key Responsibilities:

Guide students between scheduled induction sessions.
Ensure students are split by programme and directed accurately to the next session.
Be a visible and approachable point of contact for queries and reassurance.
Communicate session details clearly and confidently.
Support group flow and ensure timing is maintained.
Approach students to complete the Welcome Survey Evaluation.

Skills Required:

Excellent verbal communication skills.
Confident directing and supporting groups.
Strong organisational and timekeeping abilities.
Friendly, helpful, and approachable.
Familiarity with CSM spaces is a plus, but not essential.

Person Specification:

Current CSM student (ideally second year or above).
Enthusiastic about helping others settle in.
Calm under pressure and able to multitask.
Experience working with student-facing events is desirable, but not required.
