Key Responsibilities:

Lead small-group campus tours for incoming students, divided by course/programme.

Introduce key locations and services, including:

The Street
-
Lethaby Gallery

Disability and Counselling Services (behind reception)

CSM Museum Study Collection (if accessible)

Art Shop, Canteen, Swap Shop, Loan Store (and highlight toilet locations)

Platform Bar (mention Platform Theatre – do not enter)

Students’ Union Office and Small Gallery
-
Library Learning Zone
-
Programme-specific area – where teaching begins (covered at any point in the tour)

Create a welcoming, informative and friendly atmosphere.

Answer questions and provide reassurance to new students.
Skills Required:

Strong communication and group-leading confidence.

Knowledge of CSM facilities and student services.

Friendly, proactive and approachable.
-
Comfortable with navigating and talking during a structured tour.

Reliable and punctual.
Person Specification:

Current CSM student (ideally second year or above).
-
Confident engaging with people from different backgrounds.
-
Passionate about supporting new students.

Experience in mentoring, peer support, or public speaking is a bonus – but not essential.
