Performer (Black Creatives Hub 2 year anniversary celebration)

Are you a talented UAL student or graduate with a passion for performance? We’re looking for a student or alumni performer to take the stage at UAL’s Black Creatives Hub 2-year anniversary event. This would be a fantastic opportunity to promote your craft and perform in front of industry experts.

About the event:

This celebration marks 2 years since the launch of our Black Creatives Hub - a space created to support, empower and champion the Black community at UAL. The event will bring together students, staff, alumni and external guests for an evening of celebration, meaningful discussion and networking.

What we’re looking for:

A performer to share work with a focus on Black culture, history, identitiy or lived experiences with a live audience. This could include:

Spoken word or poetry
Music (vocal or instrumental)
Storytelling or monologue
Live art or other forms of performative practice

Please include a link to a video of a previous performance and a short summary of your proposed performance for the Black Creatives Hub anniversary event in your cover letter.

Personal Specification

Current UAL student or graduate (any College, any course or level)
Confident performing in front of a live audience with prior experience
Available to perform on Tuesday 26 May, 6-7pm
Registered with Arts Temps and completed all relevant right-to-work checks
