Job Description

Graphic designer needed to deliver print programme, print and digital poster and sponsorship deck for the annual conference for this London-based innovation district and partnership of over 100 academic, cultural, research, and scientific organisations. This project is anticipated at taking 30-35 hours.
 

Sponsorship Deck – 8-10 pages

• Interpreting content + setting page structure

• Creating a strong master layout system (cover + key page types)

• Rolling out across deck

Print Programme – 12-20 pages

• Layout system

• Typesetting (agenda, speaker info, etc.)

• Image handling

• Print-ready file setup (bleed, margins, export specs)

• Setting grid + master pages

• Designing key page types (agenda, speaker pages, etc.)

• Rolling out full programme

• Image handling + formatting

• Print prep (bleeds, export, proofing)

• Revisions (2–3 rounds)

Print & Digital Poster

• Concept + visual direction

• Layout + typography

• Resizing/adapting for different formats

• Print-ready setup

•  Creative Concept - initial directions or one strong route

Final Design (Primary Format)

• Poster design (composition, hierarchy, typography)

Adaptations (Various Dimensions)

• Resizing for different formats (e.g. A3, A4, square, story)

Personal Specification

  • At least 3 years experience as a graphic designer
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, with attention to detail across both print and digital formats
  • Ability to interpret briefs and structure complex information into clear, engaging designs
  • Proficient in industry-standard design tools (e.g. Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
  • Organised and able to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, and revision rounds efficiently
    Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and feedback
