Job Description

Why apply to be a Changemaker?

You might apply if you’d like to:

  • Grow your creative practice by contributing to blogs, campaigns, visual projects, and storytelling for social justice.

What do Changemakers do?

LCC Changemakers is an award-winning programme of co-creators and student partners. They work with staff across programmes, libraries, and careers/employability to reimagine social justice and embed it into the curriculum.

  • Designing branding and visibility campaigns that highlight Changemaker work.
  • Developing a digital visual archive to translate ideas of racial and social justice into accessible formats.
  • Producing a coauthored publication / annual report that captures the Changemakers’ impact.
  • Co-designing presentations and leading workshops and events with students and staff.

Each successful candidate will work together on producing a programme publication, and digital archive/website. See below for past LCC Changemakers outputs:

There will be an opportunity to apply for an extended contract from June to July 2027 for candidates interested in scholarship and sharing their learning and practice as part of conferences and staff development weeks.
